Welcome to the IWPCA Members
Only E-Mail Discussion List
|
This
discussion e-mail list is provided as a service to IWPCA members,
and is
intended for the dissemination of association-related information
between members. To subscribe, you must be a member of
the Iowa Water Pollution Control Association. For information
about becoming a member of IWPCA,
To Subscribe to the IWPCA E-Mail
Discussion List:
Fill out the simple subscription form below. Adding a subscription is
a manual process, so it may be a few of days before you begin receiving
e-mail from the service. Once you subscribe, the system will use your
e-mail address to confirm that you are subscribed. As a result, if you
subscribe using your work e-mail address, the service will not allow you to submit a
posting from your home e-mail account.
To Start a New Discussion
Thread:
Send an e-mail to
iawpca@lists.iawpca.org. Remember that your post will be sent to
all subscribers of the e-mail discussion list. Subscription to the
discussion list is restricted to IWPCA members, but it is always possible
for an e-mail to be forwarded electronically or printed and passed on to
someone else. Do not assume that your postings will be private!
To Reply to an Existing
Discussion Thread:
Simply reply to the e-mail you receive through the discussion list.
Again, remember that your reply will be sent to all subscribers of the list.
If you want to reply to a specific individual, you will need to address the
e-mail to that person, not back to the list serve address.
To Unsubscribe from the IWPCA E-Mail Discussion List:
Enter your e-mail address in the box
below, and click the unsubscribe button. For Help with the
IWPCA E-Mail Discussion List:
Contact the host of the list serve
at listhelp@iowaleague.org. Contact the IWPCA Webmaster at
webmaster@iawpca.org.
E-Mail Discussion List
Etiquette:
Please do not use this service for sending jokes, airing private disagreements,
or anything else that would reflect poorly on yourself or on the association.
Profanity is prohibited. Remember that e-mail usage policies of
your employer should be respected when using the IWPCA e-mail discussion board.
If you are forwarding an e-mail that you think would be of interest to other
subscribers, make sure to include a brief note to explain what the e-mail
contains and why you think it is of interest.
A Word
about E-mail Viruses:
E-mail sent through the IWPCA discussion list is scanned for viruses, but there
are no guarantees. The best advice is to always protect your computer with a good anti-virus program
that is frequently updated.
