WATER SOURCEBOOK
The Water Sourcebook's are comprehensive, hands-on guides designed to supplement and enhance existing curricula on water quality and conservation. Each book contains activities and fact sheets in the areas of drinking water, wastewater treatment, groundwater, surface water and wetlands. The inter-disciplinary lessons focus specifically on issues that students are likely to face in their lives as they make critical decisions affecting the future of our water resources. Water Sourcebooks have user-friendly formats to be used as tools for teachers and water quality professionals. They have been correlated to National Science, Geography, and Social Science Standards. The Water Sourcebooks are compatible with existing curriculum standards across the U.S. and contain curriculum correlation charts for easy integration into existing science curriculum. The Water Sourcebook was developed for LEGACY, Inc. Partners in Environmental Education in cooperation with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
